I just recieved a cue from Sheldon.Exactly what I asked for.He is great when it comes to seeing in his mind what you want.Very easy guy to work with and you can tell by the work he does that he takes his time and makes it right.Totaly outstanding Sheldon.Exactly what I ordered and wished in my mind.Fed ex was rough on the tube/box but it was packed perfect and no dings at all.You must love what your doing to put out a work of art like this.

:D Thanks, I do love what I do, and making something that people appreciate and enjoy is the main reason. Thanks for the compliments.

That's one of the reasons I took to you so much sheldon. I can tell you love what your doing, because you are not afraid to share your experience with others, and somehow find time to share and discuss with us on here, when I know you stay busy. There are a few others on here like that & they know who they are. I am very apprietiative of you guys, because some people act like you are out to steal their job or something . I Understand why now, but personally don't need the work that bad, I can't keep up with what I have as it is. I know some people are just fly By nights, think It's easy, but they won't last in the end. There are a few here that will because it can be very addictive, and there are a few guys like you that will deserve credit when they reach there goals.

You already know how I feel about your work, and I always like the "how did he do It's" that you slip into a cue every once and a while, just to get guys like me thinking overtime :D

I'd love to see this cue In question, Are there any pics on your site?

Greg

Thanks Greg
When I started out, I was lucky enough to have a couple of guys help me out by sharing their knowledge with me. It really wasn't much, but helped me a LOT. Mainly I would like to thank Clark Smith who was totally unselfish with his knowledge.
Cuemaking is a tough row to hoe, and you have to love it or be really good at it!
I can understand why people don't give out information, and it doesn't really bother me until they throw it in your face by saying they know something but won't give it up! :)

It is tough, but I guess the challenge is part of the love. Unfortunatly when ever I have met a challenge I have gotton bored with it in other things I have done. The cool thing about this is that It stays challenging, and there are so many variences to keep It that way.

Yeah, I understand also. I know now, that some I did not realize are very helpfull, just don't like to archive it in a post.

Those guys you mentioned are the worse, just swinging it in your face like teasing a child with candy. :p You probably know It anyhow ;)

Sheldon, do you keep a portfolio of your work?
I have a website that I haven't updated in about 3 years....
www.sheldoncue.com
this is probably one of my fanciest cues

About how much would a cue comparable to the one shown run?

Something like that runs 4-5 grand. 5 sapphires, mammoth ivory, elephant ivory, and a lot of custom inlay work drive the price up fast.
