shill bidder on ebay

I guess I have to say IMO, the only shill bidders that I KNOW of are Reliabletools.

Not only do they shill their Ebay auctions, but they go to machinery auctions and shill there as well.

I was present at a live auction where they bid a Birmingham 12x36 up to over 2k. I then saw it on Ebay. I believe they collude with auctioneers. If they win at a high price, they get a discount. If they lose, the auctioneers still get a high price due to the shilling.

Almost every single item they put up gets bid on instantly and that is weird.

There has been an AZ'er on here that has shill bid on ebay with their 'ebay store' many times. It was reported, but ebay did nothing,....go figure. All ebay is concerned with is 'did they pay the listing and final sale fees'....and the seller, well, lets just say we all know him, and most don't like him. And no it's not Joe...

The statement that all Ebay cares about is money could not be more true!

Since they have zero competition it doesn't matter to them if someone gets screwed....well, as long as it isn't THEM. However, since the now own Paypal, if you somehow manage to get the best of THEM get ready to have you bank account frozen.

You DO have a separate account for Paypal right?

I've been to live auctions where they have placed shill bidders in the crowd to try and bump up the bidding. Don't know if it's illegal or not but it should be.
