Shine on phenolic

Anyone tell me the best way to shine a phenolic ferrule? Do you need to sand to a certain grit? Wet sand? Whats your best method?

I seal with super glue, sand to 1500 and then use white jeweler's rouge.

I basically do the same thing only I use different compounds to buff & polish It out.

Thanks for the help guys. I am working on a Mezz with that slim ferrule and it looks cloudy. Trying to get it to shine a bit ;-)
