Judd Trump changed shoes in the match V Barry Hawkins :

However, Trump was forced to change out of the 'Rollerboy Spikes' by French designer Christian Louboutin during the match as he kept slipping in them.

Not that it has put him off wearing them again in future matches.

He said: "I thought it was time for a change. I've had my other ones for a long time. I went out for the first two frames and tried them on and I was sliding around out there and had to take them off.

"I was all right in the practice room but as soon as I went out there I just started sliding around.

"Hopefully I'll wear them in the next game but I was sliding around out there so we're going to have to make a few adjustments so I can wear them.

"It's just a little bit different, I like to stand out now and again."

So I have to ask the question. What shoes do you fell most comfortable wearing when playing cue-ball games and what is the reason why ?

My favourite footwear

1.Spatz-Black and White ones.
When I wore them I was a young teenager and I was pretty much unbeatable when I wore them at the Poolhalls.Too bad I wore them out and haven't been able to replace them ever since.LOL

2.Winklepickers.
Not too disimmilar to Spatz but not the same.

3.Desert boots.
Excellent replacement for Spatz but not the same.

4.Brouge's.
Not too bad but not the same.

5.Waffles.
Not too bad but similar to Brouges.

Trainers ? Are you having a laugh ? That's the same as wearing Steel Toe Cap boots in my opinion.Lol.

So the question is asked as to what is your favourite footwear when you play the Cue-ball games and speaking from experience Spatz shoes are the way to go but I gave you my top 5 list.

Just hope Judd Trump is reading this thread.LOL.:D:thumbup:

You never answered the question.LOL.

oh yea you're right. I like them because they are the softest most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, and also supposedly provide the best support. I have plantar problems, which is what led me to a NB store.

I've mostly worn Nike shox or Reebok zigs lately, and these blow them away, but are a little more expensive.

I have the NB 1260 model

This is more or less on topic. I notice that many snooker players wear shoes with very elongated toes. The advantage is obvious, but is there any regulation on this? Could someone add an extra foot of "toe" to his shoes?
