As of right now there are 8 players left and tehy will kickoff at 10:00am
on monday.
On the winners side is

Jose Parica playing
Kim Davenport

Deo A. ( a young Filipino) playing
Gerardo Jamito

and on the 1-loss side is

Efren
Ron Marshall
Ernesto
Morro ( i believe) not 100% sure

Good match between Brian Butler and Ernesto with Ernesto coming back from
6-3 in the race to 7. I thought Butler had his chances but Ernesto hung tough and made a nice 9 ball runout for the win.

Might be some action tomorrow with the big guns but not much tonight.
A couple semi-locals were playing 1000 jellybean sets race to 9.

The environment is a good one and always seems to be in Shooters. The pros or top players seem more accessable and friendly.

Watching Efren I tend to always come to the same thought. He is able to get awesome amounts of english on the cueball with control while making the object ball. The average player might get the same english on the cueball every now and then but by accident and with NO control.

Thanks for the update. I did not know the tournament was continuing today.

I'm pulling for Jose Parica to win! :) Nice to see Kim Davenport in the top ranks of the chart, too!

LOL! I'm always pulling for my Jose. He's one of my faves! :)

Having said that, though, if Jose stumbles, nothing would please me more than to see Kim Davenport score a big "W." Considering what he has gone through with his eye injury, this win would be quite meaningful to him. I'm always a sucker for a happy ending! :p

Kim is who I am pulling for. I don't care what anyone says, that man has dead perfect form. The best form of any player I have seen.
