Shorter cues

I noticed a lot of smaller ladies playing pool on league nights are using full size cues. They are holding the cue with about 12" of butt hanging out the back, this is really unbalanced and makes it hard to control. I was wondering if anyone made a range of shorter cues with the joint in the center and properly balanced, not just sawn off. I reckon we could sell a few for sure.

imo they should just move the balance point up. the extra length will always come in use during long shots and bridge shots

This is not a problem - some of the greatest players of all time
held the cue even more forward than that.

Not a flame, but i will say i completely, 100%, disagree with that statement.
Custom cues should be built around the player.....
Any person paying 1500+ on a cue thats not built to their back hand grip location, and weight preference is a fool.

You missed the point completly,

Holding the cue forward is not a problem.

I use only 58" cues...it is my preferred length. I only play with wrapless full splices because, 1) I like the feel of a full splice, 2) I like the look of a full splice, 3) Because there is no wrap, I can move my grip up and down the handle, as needed, without any distractions.

My grip moves up and down the handle depending on what the shot requires. I never get so far up the handle that I feel that I have lost the balance point. If the cue were much shorter, I would run out of handle for those longer table shots.

Lisa <====likes a normal length cue just fine. :)
