Hey Koop...nothing yet from my dad or grandparents. I heard that my mom and step-dad are okay. Could be a couple of weeks before they have power. They have two generators going and the gas station is literally across the street, if it's working. My aunt talked to my mom Monday night around 8 pm, and that was the last I have heard. Phones are jammed up right now, cell wise. The landlines are just about non-existant. The live about 50 miles north of Gulfport, but just about where the eye came through.

Thanks for asking Koop...and I am still on pins and needles here at work.

They are from the same stock as you, Shorty. I'm sure they will be OK.

Hopefully, it's a good sign that you've already had contacts with some of your family. I'm praying for them, Chad.

Thanks Scott...I am hearing it may take up to 5 weeks to restore power there. My mom won't make it that long...she liable to go postal on someone HA HA

If and when I get to speak to her, I am gonna see if she can get outta there and come stay with us somehow.
