Shot Some With Steven Waldon Tonight

Fellow AZB poster moved to NYC this week, and I did my best to welcome him to the NYC pool scene by giving him a game at Amsterdam Billiard Club, first a couple of sets of nine ball, and then a short set of one pocket.

Had a grand old time and made a new friend. Neither of us played well, but we enjoyed our hookup very much. We both vowed to play better in our next head-to-head match!

Steven is a solid player, a quality guy, and a very nice addition to the NYC pool scene. If you live here in NYC, I hope you'll get to meet him and hope you will show him some hospitality as he is keen on getting to know the members of the local pool scene.

if he makes his way up north a bit to Connecticut, he has a tour guy here as well i was rather fortunate to meet some really great players when i moved here last June.
