Isn't it the ref's job to say BIH and give the player the ball after wiping it with his cotton gloves?
I don't see the player doing anything wrong, she saw it fouled but it's not her job to hand the ball the the incoming player.
In a refereed match it's the ref's job. Should a player call a foul on himself? Yes but if he's doesn't or simply misses the foul should the ref not act? This like many other missed calls is at JL's feet. He's not just there to rack the balls and shout out the score. If this was his first blown call I would say nothing. It is the players responsibility to understand the status of the game at all times.
It is also the player responsibility to act according to the rules.
It is further the players responsibility to act in a gentlemanly fashion.
Knowing you committed a foul and doing nothing about it says a lot more about you than about your playing ability or sportsmanship.
