here's a stock photo of the scale i'm using to weigh, chalk, shafts, cue butts, fellini cases.
simple as can be, on-off, and metric or sae equations.

I use an AWS LB-501 Compact Bowl Scale that measures weights in ounces (to the nearest 0.001oz) or in grams (to the nearest 0.01g) using a clear acrylic ball holder. Easy to calibrate with either or both of the 200g calibration weights and easy to use any type of tare and zero it out for weighing. Cues and balls for me.

I use a Pelouze digital scale. There are various models, not too different. Reads in either ounces or grams. Not expensive either.
