I just bought a Gold Crown III this past weekend & will be setting it up in my garage. It'll be this weekend before i get it set up & i can't wait.

If you have any pics of your home table (especially if it's in a garage), i'd like to see. I'm trying to get some ideas as far as lighting & general set up.

thanks!:D

Used to be the garage...

...before an extensive renovation/addition.

My 4X8' is in a well lit messy unfinished basement, and it's going to stay that way, if I have anything to say about it.

The basement and garage are the only two rooms in the house I own, if I were to finish the basement, I'd get kicked out of there, too. This way, people are willing to leave me alone, just the way I like it.

Nothing fancy for me currently...just a Kim Steel & 100 year Hawkeye Football banner in a humble basement. Future plans are pretty extensive.

You can start by sealing everything up real good and add quality insulated garage door(s), if you don't already have them...from there go to the windows and wall insulation...then finally dress it up with drywall, floor paint and some window shades to keep the sunlight from blasting you in the middle of a shot...asmith76 setup is just right...

This is the table I bought at the first Derby City Classic. It was one of the three "finals" tables.

Nice. This is kinda what i've got in mind.

One question though, the lights above your table, it's 4 x 4ft flourescent bulbs, right? And are you using standard bulbs or the HO (high output)?

I just went & got the stuff today to build a box to mount 2 8ft long 2 bulb fixtures (4 8ft bulbs total). maybe i overdid it??

my garage is already sheetrocked. Two things i have to do though, i'm going to use insulation panels cut to fit the garage door, and i have to have a window installed in the garage to put a large window unit a/c.
