Detlev Rackow ask me to post picture of my Ron Thomas 1 x 2's with Friction Fit Closure, Accessory Cup in REAL Buffalo that is one of Ron's Premier Series Leathers. The Color is a Dark Brown almost a BLACK that has a very unique grain pattern and is very sturdy, scratch resistant, and my favorite leather Ron offers.

The Case will accommodate a Butt of Shaft Sections up to 31.3/4" LONG, and the Accessory Cup is Just about 2 Inches's DEEP, do it hold everything but a Moose Head Bridge that I carry in my pocket.

There are few pictures of Ron Thomas cases - although they are quite common. I haven't seen that many Fellinis, but Ron's style seems to be quite close, and he is much more flexible than GTF.

I found that the style of the Justis- and Instroke-cases is too flashy for me. When a Thomas is built without pouches, there is a special elegance to it.

Actually, his work is very affordable. I have one in the making, and it is not much more expensive than a GTF or an Instroke case. If you want something from GTF that they don't build as part of their standard offerings, their work is even more expensive.

I know the owner of this case personally. I would like to thank Bruce and Ron. The pictures of this case does not do the case justice in person. Color is amazing with detail and shading. :thumbup:

Here is one i custom ordered a while ago and eventually sold, and will forever regret selling. 2x4 black lizard w shortened lid and 1" deep accessory cup, strap, no pockets, fellini lock. Sleek and classic.

Good new is Ron still has that SKIN, and could do it again. I personally woul do a 2" or longer Accessory Cup NEXT TIME.
