I know that Art Cantando worked with Barry Szamboti, but I still find it interesting how closely one of Art Cantando's cues resembles the second cue from the right.
My collection of cues by Paul Drexler may not come close to conveying the significance of his contribution to the art of cuemaking but should be at least a slight illustration of the breadth of his skills.
Two of the cues are part of his collection of Tulipwood cues, simple straightforward cues and great players.
The next cue is a John Davis purpleheart conversion that Paul created for me last year. I wanted a cue similar to a Titlist conversion that he had done earlier in his career. This cue met my specifications.
And finally is Paul's Palmer Model 20 tribute. This was a long build and matches a Palmer 20 all too close. I should have included the shafts in these photos.
Paul is a gentleman as well as a master craftsman and artist. Working with him on a project is a pleasure as I am confident he and Ellen can bring to life anything I can properly convey to them.
I have one additional cue in the hopper which I am very excited about. When it is done I will add it to this thread.
