A little ironic that the front window of this old time "Billiard Hall for Colored" features a Wonder Bread advertisement.
I have the usual Color of Money, Hustler, and even a Bugs Bunny poster in my pool room. This photo has a rather special place on the wall, though.
It was taken right around Christmas, 2002, when my parents visited my wife and I in our new home. I finally had the pool room I'd always wanted, and was thrilled to play against my dad on my very own table.
This trip was the last time I saw him alive. He passed away in March of 2003.

Very sorry to hear about you losing your dad - I'm glad you got a picture you value.
I appreciate that, even after all this time. Nothing between us was left unsaid, but he was a relatively young man. When doctors tell you to stop smoking and watch your sugar intake, do it! LOL
