Simonis 760 vs Tournament 30/30 cloth?

I have Simonis 860 now... it been on my table for about a year and a 1/2 but I find it plays slow in comparison with the local pool hall I play at.

On top of playing slow... the cloth looks really bad with all the burn marks from fast breaks and jump shots burns.

I was thinking of changing it to with either the Championship 30/30 or Simonis 760. Which cloth is faster and are either of these cloths more durable than the 860 that I have now?

I don't know why the 860 is playing so slow, but I have 30/30 on for the same length of time(1 1/2 yrs) and it's still quite fast and it wears MUCH better than 860 or 760 and I'd say 30/30 new is the same speed as 860 new, which I had before changing over.

760 is faster than 860. I have never played on 30/30. You need to make sure the cloth is properly stretched. If not it will not play well. Keep it clean (I recommend Quick-Clean :p ) as dirty cloth slows down. If you have the table in a basement below ground, get a dehumidifier, as humidity will slow it down.

How much does it cost to have Simonis 760, 860, or 30/30 installed on a 9ft. table? And, which is the best? My friend has a table and wants to put Simonis on it but theres not a whole helluva lot of choices as to who can put it on and where to get it from in this town. The table plays real good now, tight pockets, maybe a little too tight for my liking, but he wants to fix it up. Any advice will help and a little direction to go to have someone install it will help. Thanks.

Simonis is probably the best, though some will argue about that Chapionship cloth. They think it is cheaper in price.........but it really isn't much cheaper! All those other companies are trying to compete with Simonis and make a compareable cloth.........but it is hard to match Simonis. Some say it wears out too fast........but the others don't last any longer. IMO the other cloth makers are just chasing Simonis!
You don't need the 760 on a 9' table..........the 760 is for snooker tables mostly...though some do use it on other tables...but it will wear out too fast playing 9 ball or whatever. It works best rolling snooker balls around, without the abuse of 9 ball. We usually get 350-400 for recovering with the 860.....not sure exactlly what it is, but thats close.

Around here it's about $350 and that includes releveling the table, etc. I have 760 on mine, because I play mostly 14.1 It may be a little too fast for 9 ball.
