Simonis pool table cloth is it good quality

Hi everyone

I'm a table fitter from the uk! Over here we tend to use west of England cloth. My suppliers are now selling simonis cloth also. Is it any good? Is is hard wearing, does it keep its colour? Or should I stay away?

Here in the states it is generally regarded as the best.

If your main concern is wear, get the Simonis HR. I personally prefer the Championship Tour Edition 30/30. When I had the normal Simonis on my table, any jump shot would leave a nice nick in the cloth. The Tour Edition has never nicked, and only leaves a white "burn mark" on the cloth, which can be removed with cleaning.

A pool room in my area has had the Tour Edition on his tables for 3 YEARS. He cleans the tables and uses some silicone product to keep the cloth in a more "new like" and fast condition.

I used Championship 30/30 for 3 years before going with Simonis 860 and then 860HR. It wears better than I thought it would but doesn't handle missed jumps as well as the Championship 30/30. A bolt of Championship 30/30 had a few misweaves (not bad) whereas the bolts of Simonis was perfect. Customers say they prefer the Simonis but that may be due to marketing on TV.
