I bought the X-1 after recovering my table with tournament blue Simonis. I use a chalk that really contrasts the cloth. The X-1 removes the chalk but I found that any micro fiber cloth works just as good. Wish that I known that before I spent $90.00.
Save your money and use a micro fiber cloth. Use it dry, if you use a wet cloth it defeats the effect.
I bought Valley table a few years ago with 860 on it. It was used allot before I got it and has not got a break since!!! lol
I'm guessing its 4 years old and it still plays well,, although it does need to be replaced. It has been a great cloth,,,,fast,,,,,,very fast ,,,,,extremely fast now it is worn.lol

Quoting my own response. The best way I found to clean it. Use a vacuum with a long ,fine bristled brush. Thing to avoid is a power full vacuum that lifts the cloth,,I think that does more damage than good.
Once vacuumed,,,and chalk residue is gone. Then,,on occasions,,wipe it down with a damp cloth to remove any stubborn chalk marks.
