I know a lot of you are always looking for ways to improve your game.

You might want to do what I just did if you're afforded the luxury. Take a nap before you go out to play in your league matches or your local nightly tournaments.

If you can't take naps, I suggest you get in better shape. Do a lot of walking and lose at least ten pounds.

Happy New Year!

You actually made a great post here. I mean, take a look at Earl. That man runs for miles a day to try and stay in top shape; he has done so his entire career. Once the weather turns warmer I hope to start getting a couple of miles in a day, the holidays have been very good to me....by good I mean lots of food!

Actually, now you mention it, I make a point of sitting in meditating for 20 to 30 minutes before going to a match. I try to schedule it so that there's enough time to shoot 20 to 30 minutes of stop and stun shots the length of the table after I meditate and before I leave the house.

I played in my second local tournament last night (I've only recently screwed up the courage to start entering tournaments, last night was only the second one I've been in); of 14 who entered the tournament, I finished in fourth place! My winning streak was ended by 2 master players, but only after I got to send a couple of other master players home. I went home with a little extra spending cash in my pocket. I'm sure the meditation helps.
