I'm not sure if the issue of computar billiard simulators has been discussed on the rest of the message board because I haven't looked. I'm posting here, however, to get peoples' impressions on those they've used for practicing or experimenting with carom games. I've only used one by Laurent Buchard, available for download at http://perso.orange.fr/laurent.buchard/index.html and it is great. No frills, no installation to worry about, just click and go. The physics seem great to me, though there have been small changes between versions. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any version but the English.

Anyone else recommend any others?
 
Man, that site is great...except I can't read any of it. I tried the downloaded program and it was neat except for the language barrier there too. Is there one in English?

For a translation go to Google.com and paste in the web address in the
search box. The result will give you the option to Translate.
