I wonder what the second warning is about? For calling you a clown?

I never saw any of the posts or the thread. I was just curious if we were supposed to be able to see deleted posts when you search someone's post. I guess maybe it's the moderator controls that are allowing you to see it???Mr. Wilson said:Regardless of whatever squabbles he is having with Eric, I see no posts missing.
Iacas had controls when switching over the board and according to what I've read here, that was the person that had issues with the post. Is it possible that iacas still has controls?Icon of Sin said:An admin could be removing the posts and not leaving the delete message there for moderators to see it.
Plus the post after his was removed because it contained a quote from him.Timberly said:Iacas had controls when switching over the board and according to what I've read here, that was the person that had issues with the post. I remember reading it, he quoted Southpaw in the respose as well. Then someone quoted him under it with LOL. It looks like that post is missing too.
He has a right to be upset about this. His post was removed from the forum somehow.
I've never spoken to Iacas and really haven't seen much of their posts either.... For the record, I certainly am not trying to get in the middle of the "argument" here. I was simply trying to find out if I had read Mr. Wilson's post correctly because I've never been able to see a deleted post. Along the way, I read the rest of the thread and the logical explanation would be that Iacas deleted the post. Just an observation from someone on the outside looking in.breakup said:iacas is still listed as an admin

There isn't any such post shown as deleted, much less "keeps getting deleted".
Was it resolved if TBA's posts were deleted or was he typing with invisible ink?Gunn_Slinger said:Didn't the same thing happen a few weeks ago? Is it possible there is a glich?
Ummagumma said:Typically, when a user deletes his/her own post, only an admin or moderator can see the deleted post.
Now try a test. Create some message in an existing thread, and then delete it.
Now if you go to Search in the toolbar up above, choose Advanced Search, then Search by User Name and type in yourself, you'll get a list of the threads in which you have created a post.
Including the thread in which you deleted the post. But you can't actually see the post -- it's invisible. The post is technically not deleted (and where the normal user can't even see it), it's just marked as deleted. But it's a bug in the vBulletin software which brings up the list of threads showing all posts you've created in those threads.
An admin and moderator have the ability to leave a post deleted, undelete the post, or physically remove the post (which nukes it for good).

Has anything come of this? Since this was pointed out, does Iacas still have admin controls and were they questioned as to whether they deleted the posts? I'm sure some people just want this to go away but I think it needs to be resolved. The way I understood it, Iacas was given controls to change the board. Once the board was changed, the controls were not taken away. Iacas has a problem with a particular post, has the controls, deletes numerous times and leaves no trail for a mod or anyone else to see it because they have admin controls and can do that. Poster gets upset, questions it, is continually told he's wrong, that he must be lying, he of course gets angry, and is subsequently banned.Timberly said:Iacas had controls when switching over the board and according to what I've read here, that was the person that had issues with the post.
