The worlds pool hall, and they were OK and open for business. Wanted me to come on over there. They still have electric at this time. Vester said they were playing pool until the lights go out. Man what a pool hall! And workers braved the storm to open up for their customers and pool players. Pool is not dead in New Orleans/Metairie, Louisiana area!!!
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

it should have turned EAST and gone thru TAMPA and blown the REPUBLICANS all out to sea .... but wait till ROMNEY AND RYAN are there too

Take over some candles, Lock.
I guess the grinders will be wearing water wings and all...

I hope everybody remains safe...I love the Big Easy

WRONG!! Should have gone up the east coast and turned west through DC!

I wish I had left now.
The hurricane is upon us, winds blowing and roaring loud raining hard. Well at least the electric is still on for now. Just a little update on this storm in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Many Regards,
Lock N Loaf.

You don't need lights to play pool.
Stop off at the sporting good store or Grainger and get a headlight for your ball cap

Keep us posted, Lock.
If the power goes, maybe you could hook up to some of them electric eels
that are sure to be swimming by.

Did you know that 'Cajun' is a variation of the word 'Acadian'?
They are related to the people that stayed on Canada's east coast.
I hope everybody down there is untouched.

Bon chance, mes amis

Oh crapenheimers, neither Joey or Lock and Load have posted lately....

Swim Forest, SWIM!!! ;)

But seriously, hurricanes are no laughing matter - their violence and destruction are never fully understood for often days. I hope you - L & L, the world's pool hall, JoeyA and everyone in the region come out as best as possible.

Fingers crossed.... It's the flooding I would think presents the biggest threat.

Be careful L & L!

Hey Kool,
I am so glad you care! Thank you for that. It hit a while ago. 80 MPH winds now with lots of rain. Sounds like someone is beating on the roof with a sledge hammer. I am OK though. Thank God for that. I really appreciate your concern. All pool players should help and like each other. That is what makes AZB so great!. The Hurricane is a 100 feet wide, winds up to 100MPH.
Many Regards,

I have one of those lights already. I use it to work on computers. Would you believe that at Buffalo Billiards, the worlds pool hall that they were holding flash lights for each other to make shots, wow!!! Hmmmm, I wish I could have been there. But we can not go out after 8PM. and until 6AM. If you do go out you go to jail. One parish wants you to call the police if you have to go out! PS. I have my Sprint wireless card and 2 batteries for my 3 laptops. I will keep you all posted.

hemlock hemlock,
You should hear the wind hitting the building! I tried to open the back door and the wind would not let me do so. I need to be somewhere else other than here now. I will hang in here. I do not want to go to sleep as I might miss something!
Many Regards,
