Hi there, Sarah. It was great to see you at Louisville.

Did you say six pocket?

That's one of my favorite games on a pool table. I guess I thought that it was only known here at UIUC. Are the folks playing alums? Jim Engles? Andreas? Pete Fulton? Is there a regular weekly game, or just scratch games? What are the stakes, typically? Do you play?
 
Six Pocket!!! What a crazy game. If you go to the Chicago area nearly every room will play that game. The most likely place to play is Quentin Corner Pocket in Palatine, IL. They play for anything between .25 and $5.00 per stroke. I haven't run into any U of I alums playing that game. It is mostly just pool room regulars. I hear the game originated in Chicago, but I'm not really sure how accurate that is.

I have to say it is a fun game if you are looking to spend a whole night playing pool. It gets frustrating at times but it is fun.
