One of the cool things about where I play is that they have tables of different cloth types and pocket sizes.
Here are two pic of difference pocket sizes. I have been jamming (cause I no longer practice but jam) on the tight table for awhile now. Thats the first pic.
Last night I played on table with pockets in the second pic.
OMG, it was just too much fun. To me, those were huge. I could hit shots because of the wider pockets whereas on the tight table, there was no way.
It was alot of fun.
Oh, in my description of what I call the OB impact zone, I left out one other thing that affects the size of the OB impact zone. I did so on purpose to see who was paying attention. No one was.
Pocket size also affects the impact zone on the OB. Bigger pockets, bigger impact zone on the OB.
