All,

Since the Nova's gonna sell on E-bay next week...

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=34090

...the next cue in my collection is up for sale now.

CUE IS SOLD!

This is a 2006 Skip Weston cue. It's 58" long, and weights at 19.5 ounces with either of the 2 shafts. Buttsection, alone, weighs 15.5oz...and each shaft is 4oz. One shaft is played, and one is brand new.

Curley Maple forearm
4 Rosewood points
4 veneers (recuts) of maple, orange, brown, black
5/16x14 piloted Stainless Steel joint.
Maple dot-dash rings in black phenolic at A and B positions
White with brown specs linen wrap
Long Rosewood buttsleeve and short white Delrin buttcap
2 shafts with Ivor-x ferrules and Triangle tips...each at 12.75mm
1 shaft has seen some play...the other shaft is brand, spankin' new

THE FIT, FINISH, AND HIT ON THIS CUE IS AWESOME!!! When I get back into collecting cues, Skip is gonna sit high on my list, for sure. The man makes a killer cue!

This cue comes with a black 1x2 Guisseppe case with a small storage pouch and shoulder strap (I know..I know...it's a Guisseppe...but it beats NOT coming with one at all, right????)

When new, this set sold for $900.

This cue/case combo for sale at $700 shipped...or best offer. Check out the pics, and hit me up on PM with any questions or offers.

Back Up For Sale....

All,

My buyer for the Skip Weston cue backed out on me...so THIS CUE IS, AGAIN, FOR SALE!!!
PM me with any questions/offers.

Thanks,

Rat

Night-time bump, bump.

700 or best offer takes this beauty....and it's got a hit that you'll LOVE!!

You're killing me here!! I just love this cue. My husband finally decided that he wanted to go with a nice custom cue, and gave me his budget. This fit perfectly. I showed it to him.......let's just say he doesn't get it. He wants to design something himself....like I did. But this is the same guy who complains if a pair of shoes costs over 25.00!!!

I tried!! Someone is going to get a very, very nice rosewood cue for an outstanding price. Come on, people!! This cue is just a little over a month old!!

Lisa

Thanks, Lisa. It really is a great cue...and I'm kinda shocked that someone hasn't jumped at the chance to get a Skip Weston with no waiting, and for 200 cheaper than they would pay 4-6 months down the line.

Strange beast, the pool world!

Midnight Bumpage for the Skip.

I like this cue a lot and the price is right but the skinny shafts killed the sale.

i myself play with 13mm shafts.. i am used to it.. but i just have to say..
12.75mm isnt that much thinner.. i am sure most you play with a predator shaft.. they come standard as 12.75... if i just didnt buy a jack madden, i would be all over this cue.. it has exactly what i want.. nice rings, nice points.. respected cue maker.. and good resell..

anyways.. Rat.. here is a bump for you...
btw.. did you sell your scruggs? that you were trying too.. also that jensen of yours is a good catch! ;) everytime i saw your old avatar i stared at it.. lol

8 Ball...the price you've selling this at is "definitely" right. I'm sure you'll find a buyer soon.

Chris,

The Scruggs Hoppe cue did find a new home....and I have another one that will be selling soon. Gorgeous 4 pointer with ivory point inlays and lots of ivory in the buttsleeve. It's a real looker!

The Jensen that was in my Avatar has found a new home. I hear the new owner is pleased with it...as I knew he would be. That cue was a real player...and looked gorgeous, too. I replaced my avatar picture with one of my 3-year-old boy...who is dead set on being a fireman when gets big.....but he's more likely, right now, to SET the fires...not put them out!! :)

TO ALL THAT SENT ME A PM....I RESPONDED. THERE WAS ONE OF YOU OUT THERE WHO HAD A FULL "INBOX"...SO CLEAR OUT SOME STUFF AND I'LL HIT YOU BACK THIS AFTERNOON WITH A PM RESPONSE!!

BUMP, BUMP, BUMP! :) :)

The Jensen I got from Mark is absolutely awesome! I hit with it last night. Smooth, solid, and a looker! The new owner couldn't be happier!

I also did a deal with Mark on another cue. I owe him firstborn children for the deal he gave me!

Somebody else needs to buy the next few of Mark's cues, so I can save my funds for a couple he's selling down the road... I have a hard time watching great deals go by, though. Somebody please buy them so I don't have to!

Steve,

Thanks much for chiming in. Thrilled that you're happy with the Jensen. That's another cuemaker I'm gonna hit up...when I get back into the game.

As far as the firstborn children....I'll take 'em!!! They cook AND do windows, right? :)

The other cues will be listed, one at a time, upon my return home from this little trip I'm on (a one-week deal out of town, at the moment). With the Nova on E-bay...and a hopeful sale on the Skip sometime this weekend, I'll have another cue up for sale sometime next week.

Have a great weekend, Steve. Same to all the forum members!

TGIF...or some crap like that!!!

Friday night bump.

All PMs have been replied to, folks. Don't let this one pass you by!!!

Bidding Started!?

Alrighty folks.....I'll bid $500 plus shipping on the Skippy :D

Let's get serious here....what do you think

Thanks, Ken!!...

Thanks much for the bump, Ken.

Tell ya'll what......I'm gonna discount this cue, just so we can move on to the next one in line.

There have been a TON of folks PM'ing me for details and offers...but they all seemed to disappear when it came time to pull the trigger.

Maybe this will get them to reload and squeeze off a round!!!

$625 SHIPPED, TODAY ONLY. IF IT DOESN'T SELL TODAY, OFF TO E-BAY IT GOES!!!!!!!

Thanks, ya'll.
