My new Skip Weston cue arrived today. I'm very happy with it. I was pleasantly surprised with just how well he tapered the shafts based upon my email description. It was a pleasure dealing with him, and he delivered right on schedule as well as being an excellent communicator. The entire experience has been first rate.

Nice Skip! I'm not a fan of MOP but it looks good all the same...lol.
 
As you can tell I love the classic BUSHKA inspired look.

I'm all about the MOP.

I just got a e-mail from Skip...and I should have mine by the end of the month, I think. We'll compare notes when we put 'em side by side.

The Schon can never be retired! They've always made the perfect hitting cues for ME. Slap a predator on one and I'm golden.

See you in a few weeks. Can't wait to see your arsenal.

Talk about LOL...lol. I definitely wasn't ready for that one. I realize that by being a classic design lover and disliking MOP at the same time is quite anomalous but I can't help it, I amsk who I amsk!

A breath of fresh air to be exact. I didn't know Skip did traditional designs like that, then again, I don't know Skip like that either. :p

Not to brag on this cue....but ok..I'm going to brag about this cue....

the pointwork/veneers/inlay/wrap/finish....everything is so FLAWLESS I don't know how it could be done better? I mean, I'm very anal...and I studied it and studied it looking for an imperfection.....and there were none.

BTW, I pm'd about the tapering of the shafts to the person who asked.

If I had to complain about anything, he shaped the tips too thick and round for my tastes, but that is neither here nor there.

If anyone else wants to gush over this cue...well, proceed. Who am I to stop you? :)
 
I have always thought about ordering one and now I want to. but don't know his price range. how much did this cue cost you? If you don't want to say it just Pm me. thanks

Skip's pricelist is on his website. The prices may have increased a bit, as the site hasn't been updated in a while, but it will give you a good idea of what your design would cost. Here is the link: http://www.skipwestoncues.com/prices.html.

Prices are the same as he quoted me $850 for a basic 4 pointer with veneers. I received mine yesterday but just haven't had a chance to take any pictures. I absolutely love it and it plays better than it looks.
