Skip Weston on eBay ?

There is currently a Skip Weston on eBay on a 1 day auction. It certainly is a lovely one. The price is still low right now. Not too sure how legit it is, but you may wish to check it out. If I had the cash, I would be all over it. Just do a search for Skip Weston, it's the only one currently active.

I knew this cue looked familiar! This is a scam auction, as this is Zeeder's cue. He also did not deliver on a Gibson guitar that was auctioned earlier.

Be careful. I think this auction is a fraud. You might want to check the wanted/for sale section of this forum.

Thanks David, I did catch that thread...unfortunately after I had already posted. Was gonna post about it last night, but have been sick. Glad someone caught it tho'.

Hey, we've all got to watch out for one another. I am glad that it got caught soon enough (I hope!) to do something about.
 
Well, I just sent eBay another email concerning the fraudulent listing, as it still has not been pulled yet. Total BS. I would be seriously pissed if someone tried to sell my Skip Weston too...I Know for a fact there is no other like it...Skip won't do those kind of points again, very labor-intensive. Too bad eBay doesn't have a special fraud reporting page, so it could be handles much quicker.

I'd just like to say that if anyone would like to match the current bid I'd be willing to at least consider it...lol.

Considering the final price that it closed for, I'd probably sell too if somebody would match that bid!! To my knowledge, the most expensive S. Westong I've every seen!! Now let's watch to see if the winning bidder adds a positive feedback. If he does, then we've identified two crooks in one auction!

The high bidders are posters here bidding high to protect those who might otherwise think it's a legit auction. I also emailed all the bidders letting them know that it's my cue and that they shouldn't respond to any second chance offers.
 
I'm tossing some ideas around in my head for a Cue Registry. It would be a daunting task to get all of the cuemakers and those who do repairs/refinishing, like Scot @ Proficient on board, but think how invaluable such a data base would be.
