F/S is one of, if not my favorite cue. It is a Hoppe Style Titleist Tribute cue by Skip Weston. Not converted but designed and built by Skip. So it has all the great features that has made Skip one of the best there is as a cuemaker. Points are perfect. Veneers are hardwood (Purpleheart-Teal Dyed Maple-Rosewood-Maple). 19oz. 5/16-14 pin. Stainless joint. All white on the cue is Ivory. 2 Shafts. 12.75 with Ivory Ferrules. Moori Tips with Fiber Backing. One test hit on a home table and then the cue has been on display. 99.999% condition. Pictures should pretty well tell the rest of the story. Wrap is the classic white with green specs. I bought the cue new. It is my understanding that this is the only one Skip made and has no plans for another one. If you special ordered the cue it would be well in excess of $1500 if and when he starts taking orders again. I hope to sell it to someone here rather than ebay so I'm putting it on here first. It is definitely priced right at $1150 shipped here in US. Paypal is accepted. Just email me for pay to info.

CUE IS SOLD! THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND HELP.

Why?

why would you want to sell such a beautifull, one of a kind cue like this?

Bump

I have a couple like this and I just won't play with them. They are just sitting on display. It may be that there is something seriously wrong with me but I just can't play with a cue that costs over $500 or so. Don't know why thats the line but it is for me. I had a good size collection when I bought it and all the expensive (at least to me expensive) cues have been sold. I hung on to this one and one other as it is difficult to let them go.

I would be paranoid playing with an expensice cue also. Good luck on your sale!!

don't feel paranoid!!! this is not that expensive of a cue. it's actually considered a "player" from Skip and would also add that this is a steal of a price for this cue. good luck with the sale.

It is a short spice cue but with Skips seamless points.

Zcat,
I'll give you a hand...

The purple is purple heart, the teal is a dyed maple, dyed by Exoticwoods or wildwoods, one of those companies, the brown is bubinga or rosewood and the natural is maple. There are no "veneers" per se. I see in your first post you covered this, but it needs repeating.

These are recuts from what I gathered.
I didn't read that in the description, maybe I missed it
but it looks great.

they're not recuts, they're 1 piece double veneers.

Titlcueist Tribute

Great cue by a great cuemaker! I have two Skip's and I'm keeping them. Not only is Skip a great cuemaker, he's a great guy, and a poolplayer that can run a hundred. The first cue I purchased from him is the best hitting steel jointed cue that I've ever hit with. He understands the game and makes the best, repeat best, points in the business. He will go down as one of the great cuemakers of our time.
