Im coming to Melbourne this weekend for sure. I should be in town around 7-8pm on friday. I have your number skippy, so i will give you a call when i get into town and im ready to play.

If for some reason you guys cant play this weekend, post here and let me know, or shoot me an email.
 
Ill be here and so will skippy. We were just discussing you last night at the pool hall. I will be at Chalkie's on Saturday around 2ish for APA. Hope we can meet up. Golden cue or Players you should find us. ARM

Finals for Vegas. My team plays at 2:00 on Saturday. You gonna be there? Don't know too many people out there.
 
No, I can't be there. I am going to Orlando all day. Besides, I wasn't on a good team last session, but I am on one now with two power fives and a fantastic three, then we have a 2 two's, and a 3 that could play like a 4 if he could get his head out of his you know what. But he is young and that goes with the territory. I think we will be in it for sure in the next time around.

No golf for me! But i sure will be playing plenty of pool. I should be there all night friday, ill come hang out saturday to watch your matches ARM, and then after you beat everyone we can shoot all day saturday.

Then sunday, ill chill with my friend, and drive back home.

I think i will leave work early tommorow, around 4pm to leave for melbourne. Should be in town by 7-8ish. I have Skippy's number so ill be giving him a call after i get settled in.
 
My friend told me he lives about 2 miles away from the Golden cue.

Which place do you guys prefer? Which one has better equipment? I prefer 9 ft, fast cloth.

My house to my friends house->181.55 Miles - 2Hrs 51Mins

My friends house to chalkies-> 26.43 Miles - 41 Mins

My friends house to Golden cue-> Total Est. Time: 9 minutes Total Est. Distance: 3.57 miles


Id like to go with you guys to chalkies on saturday for your match, but that is alot of driving, reply and let me know where you guys live, so i know whether we can carpool or not.

I just have to be there to play for the league. Then I'm free or even before that. I wasn't suggesting that we meet there in Merritt Island. The Golden Cue or Players is where we'd meet. Skippy will get a hold of me so we all can meet. The Cue looks like the closest for you. Although Players tables is only a mile or two away and have better cloth.
 
Ive been chatting with Skippy, and weve decided to play at the Cue, although ims ure if we get bored, we can drive to players. I told him to tell you that, if you dont mind, id like to ride with you to chalkies to watch the matches. Let me know if this is ok, and i can meet you at your house, or players saturday before you leave.

I am on 2 teams. Both pretty good.
Last weekend was 9ball. Some teams were really underrated which is
a little unusual for here.
We made the quarter finals and then lost.

Does RJ play with you? He is still playing 1p?

Me and RJ don't play league... although ARM is trying to get us to start... and yep RJ still plays 1p.
 
Hi Frank, I havent played league since I started playing again about a year ago. I am not playing as much 1p as I would like, but still consider it my best and favorite game. Starting to hit the balls pretty good now when I feel like playing.

Thanks Frank,good luck to you too. This is our 9 ball league. Underrated seems to be the key to going to Vegas unfortunately. I'll let you know how it goes. I've been trying to get them to play just for the sake of chance to go to Vegas and party for cheap.

I still play for fun. I have friends that are not very good and I still want to play with them. IN my local are APA is big and theres not really a
"pool" scene. I can drive to a couple other areas and there are alot of
good players and rooms.
Soon there will be a good room less that 4 miles from me hopelly with me working there so i will have no excuses then lol.

Last weekends regionals burned me on APA a little. One team that got a spot had 4 people move up. One team also played ALL their matches on the same table. Just happened to be a table with plenty of seating in an area of the room thats 10 degrees cooler. Oh yeah the LOs
wife and daughter were on that team. Just a coincidence I am sure.

Thanks Prog8r, I was the last one to play on my team. Put on my headphones on and went to work. The guy was a 7 and I beat him pretty good. He was shook after the 1st. couple racks. We didn't have to finish since the points system showed he couldn't win. Nice guy though. We play again 10 this morning(Sunday)***Yawn***
