Is anyone familiar with Slade cues, contemplating buying, but it's pricey.

I have two, and both have some level of warp/lift in the butt.

I've never been able to confirm what kind of numbers these cues were made in but the quality feels roughly equal to Viking

Are they worth much? They are asking a lot.

I paid less than $100 for either of mine, one is a plain Jane and the other a merry widow a lot like the one in your photos but with different rings.

I don't know anyone who collects them directly and have never viewed them as high value

Ok thank you, they are saying it was collaboration with Meucci, which i found he was in Colo at same time as Slade, but thats all no proof that its a collab, they are wanting 4500-65 range they said, glad i checked haha

If that cue was made by Bob after he fell-out with Huebler and before he opened Originals it would make it rare and collectible but you would assume that Bob would have marked it in some way.

That price range is well above anything I have seen for a Slade cue but others on here may be more familiar with value since it is such a esoteric brand

what cues you referring to, Huebler or Slade? Never seen or heard of a Slade that cheap.

Never seen one. Only heard thru pool grapevine.
So I have two, both bought online, a plane jane I got for $50 and a Merry Widow I bought off eBay for $130.

I'm not saying the prices I paid are reflective of market value and neither was identified as a slade cue. Honestly the original owners had no clue what they were and probably didn't care.

Having said that the quality is not so amazing that I was blown away when unboxing them. They reminded me of similar time period Vikings but the Huebler reference is also just as accurate.
