Slapped on brass ferrule

Threaded brass ferrule was slapped on and yellow glued .
It kept popping tips.
Replaced it with phenolic ferrule.

Love the look of the finished product! The contrast from black to brown phenolic to clear tip looks really nice !!

I took one of the house cues with no tip from the clubhouse. Replaced it with a g-10 ferule and polycarbonate tip. The old guys ( me being one of them) like the way it breaks
