Has anyone tried doing this, to help keep a garden level room warmer?

I know 3 C tables are heated, but has anyone used another method to warm the slate to help?

I’ve told people to install a light bulb under the table....and leave it on 24/7.

You wanting to warm the room or the slate? Not sure exactly what you're asking. 3c tables are kept around 100degF so i would imagine the room(depending on size of course) would heat up some. In a small room you might heat it fairly quickly. Reminds me of a friend's hi-end stereo. He uses uber-expensive tube amps that double as space heaters. Great in the winter, not so much in the summer. They do sound fabulous, btw.

During TAR20 there were radiators placed under the table to heat it as per Earl's request. I have a space heater near my table but I don't heat the slate directly as I have a wooden pull-out drawer.

The room because of the slate.

I purchased a 700 watt oil filled heater/radiator. It will sit about 9'' below the slate under the table center.

I'm hoping the transfer of heat to the slate will help with the room temps in the winter.
