Slip Stic Cleaner & Conditioner

Pete,

I got the bottle of Slip Stic Cleaner you sent to me yesterday. Thanks!

Couldn't wait to try it. I used an alcohol wipe the last time I used Slip Stic Conditioner on my shaft. It worked very well, but nothing compared to your new cleaner.

It's been months since I conditioned my shaft with your Slip Stic Conditioner and my shaft was still super. After I completed the process last night of your cleaner then conditioner, I have to say-I couldn't believe how it came out. Went out and shot some pool, let some of the guy's try it for themselves and they couldn't believe it.

Thanks to Mike Webb for letting us know about you and thanks to you for developing such a great product! :D :D :D

I'm thinking of ordering Slip Stic, and wondered if you could please answer one question about its performance.

It happens not infrequently that at a tournament where a lot of players are going at it that the air conditioning system can't keep up with the humidity and, in my case, at that time the shaft of the cue starts to crab in my bridge hand. For that reason, I almost always shoot with a glove. Can you tell me if Slip Stic will do away with the need to ever use a shooting glove in high moisture conditions?

Thanks so much!

Yes!!

I can't see anyone not reaping the benifits of this product. Pete LaFond told me a while back that if a player uses a glove ( ala Jennette Lee- ooh-so beautiful), that all he or she would have to do is apply a drop to the glove. This will work also. But even without a glove your shaft will be as smooth and silky as you can imagine. Try this product, you will become a believer too!

I don't think he was asking if he could put it on his glove. He wants to know if under the conditions that he said, the air conditioning not being able to keep up with the humidity, would it still work where he didn't need to use a glove?

I play in one of the worst controlled conditions a room could offer,(My neighbors house)
cold in the winter, muggy and hot in the summer. Slip stic is still holding up.

Thanks, I guess that is what I wanted to hear before buying Slip Stic.

I can now personally recommend SlipStic!

I have had the conditioner for 2 weeks now and I am very impressed with the results. I just received the Cleaner and tried it today. I can't believe the difference this makes over working on my shafts for close to an hour and not coming even close to the finished product that SlipStic produces. It is very humid and rainy here in St. Louis today and the shafts felt like they were glass going through cotton. The Cleaner is amazing as well as the Conditioner.
I HAVE NEVER HAD THE CONFIDENCE TO EVEN TRY SHAFT PRODUCTS BEFORE THIS AND NOW I HAVE NO REASON TO TRY ANY OTHERS!

Your comments are much appreciated. I've noted when I use a glove, and especially when it has some holes in it, that for I don't know what reason some people think I'm a hustler or worse. I don't really play for money; I play to get better and to whup really good players at the table. Most of those guys won't play unless there's something in it for them if they win, and so be it, I'll agree to a race to 7 for 10 with anybody, especially if they are really good and will give me a decent spot.

It seems that as soon as the glove comes out the folks I play with get sort of edgy, and sharpen their game up a bit, if they are able.

So maybe Slip Stic on m sneaky pete will help me a bit... :D

Gunna get me soma dat stuff...

The stuff is amazing. I used the cleaner the other night at league and I was very surprised how well it worked.

Does it work in any type of shaft (Wood, fiberglass, etc.).

It was developed for wooden shafts however Mike Webb said it did work on a fiberglass one. PM Mike and ask him how he applied it.

Nothing special, I wiped it with the neutralizer, then added the slip stic, It's that simple. It last longer on a regular shaft but it still holds up for a while on the graphite and fiberglass.

Slip Stic, etc, etc.

Hi Mike,

It's nice to see so many people trying Pete's new products. He's really a great guy to talk to and he truly loves the game.

Good to hear your comments also on these forums. AZ sure is a great site. It's good to have somewhere to go that's interesting, and that has so many knowledgeble people taking part.

Now if AZ would get spell chheck-Ha Ha ! :p

Tom in Michigan

PS: Does anyone play Straight Pool in Michigan, Detroit or the surronding areas?

spell check would be nice. If you catch me on a good day, I can't tell
To, from too! from two.

The trick is think also, "too" means "also" and there is also an extra 'o' on "too". Works for me anyway.

Time Out. One more question because I want to make sure I have this right.

You are saying that with high humidity and your hands are sweaty, clammy, sticky and all that stuff that the cue still glides through a closed bridge without any problem?

Big Point, My hands don't sweat, But the conditions are the real test for me. Sweaty hands can be absolutely brutal and wear thru anything over time, I am saying that Slip stic is the best product I have used. The feed back from my customers has been very positive, not one complaint so far. I have people in the shop daily an so far everyone is very happy. If they complained, I would never ask other people to use it.
