Slippery Linen Wrap

I just recieved my new Schon STL2 today:) But now I remember what I didn't like about my STL1 when I first got it, the linen wrap is slippery as hell at first until it gets some sweat & hand oils on it.Does anyone know a nice safe way to treat or break in the wrap so it will be as comfortable as my other Schon?
 
I know that it is a tough and dirty job,

but since no one else has stepped up,...I will most graciously offer to break the wrap in for you, all you have to do is send me your cue, along with a nominal fee for table time and I'll have it back to you all nice and broken in. Don't wait, this is a limited time offer.:D
 
Take a damp but not sopping wet sponge and saturate the wrap...after it dries it will have swelled a little and you can go from there as it will have some texture to it to work down like you want...
 
U can take a block of bee's wax and rub over the wrap. This will make it just the slightest bit tackey without being sticky. U can then rub it in until it reaches the level of grip that u like. ;)
 
Ya, that should do it, if it comes out to any more thank that I will be more than happy to cover any extra costs.;)
 
Say what? hmm, I personaly like the polished pressed linen, what you should have done is purchased a Joss, MY wrap feels like what your wanting, It doesnt bother me, but I am thinking of having it wrapped with Stack leather. Confused on what color though. and I dont want smooth leather..

anyhow, Im not sure, maybe Vasaline? like smear a lil on a towel, and work it into the wrap, but Id never do it to my cue, and I wouldnt suggest it, but thats about all I could think of.

Thanks Craig, I tried your suggestion. It isn't perfect but it's a good start.
