Slow player blues.

Good example. I play golf as well (not as well as I play pool) and have a friend who gets very irritated at slow golfers. He will drive the cart over to the offending group and have no qualms about letting his angst be known.
I do that often. I told one group they were slower than evolution.

We have a Let faster players through sticker on each cart.

I often point to the sign and ask which part of the message they don't understand. Is English not your native tongue?

As you can tell I don't give a shit. As for no Marshalls, I call the pro shop and raise hell if one group of idiots is holding up play.

I would get another table and play on it while he's shooting. There's no reason for slowplay - it's also a huge problem in poker, every idiot thinks he's on tv or doesn't want to give away a timing tell LOL.
I'd just quit playing him, even if he was my bestfriend. IT'S NOT SELFISH - Both people should enjoy the game.

You have to learn to deal with slow play. Especially if you play tournaments and are in action. Trying to get players to play at YOUR pace is not going to happen. Occasionally in a tournament you can attempt to speed up the pace of your opponent but directors are reluctant to impose those constraints on a match. If you can master the negative feelings you have about an opponents pace, then you will stay in your zone and compete at your highest level. Believe me when you get a player stuck who is slow playing then you own him and he'll speed it up the more he's stuck.
