I used it for a short time at my local pool hall. The owner agreed I could put the little sticky "donuts" on one table since they're almost invisible and don't cause any noticeable rolloff.
The problem occurred when they got accidentally rubbed off by other players (maybe by sliding a rack over them?), when I wasn't there to replace them immediately. They left small amounts of adhesive on the cloth, which collected dirt and made little dark donut shaped marks which couldn't be vacuumed off.
After that happened once I lost permission to use them there. Too bad, because they otherwise work great.
