SLY vs Treadway?

I had Sly make a sneaky for me. 5 weeks became 4 months. Has a noticeable “sanding” flaw. His name is Taboo as for his character and workmanship.

I had a Sly sneaky pete once and absolutely loved it. I sold it for a profit but should have kept it, it was a great cue and really fun to play with.

I seem to remember some dust-up on here that soured people on Sly, but I don't recall really knowing or understanding what exactly had happened with him.

I've never had a Treadway but have only ever heard good things.

I met JT at Shooters in '07 when they had the first of their two big chip ring-game deals. He is one of the nicest guys you can meet and one hellacious builder. Studied with Jim Buss before hanging out his shingle. I know a few that currently own them and all love them. You need to contact 'peppersauce' here on AZ and see if has pics of his recently acquired killer wrapless Treadway. Super clean work and a real player.

Hit a few balls with both of them. Then buy the one you like best.
That's not an option around here. The priciest cue you are going to find around here is a Predator, maybe a Mezz. You are not going to find any custom cues. A quite a few old dufferins , and cheaper cues around here.

I own both Sly and Treadway. I do like treadway as I’ve been playing for a long time with it (since 2015), but Sly sneaky pete has a very balanced feel. Sly is on sale right now.

I ended up with a nice Treadway with a Justice case.

If I was able I'd buy the cue on the right in the second picture on page 1 , I'd really like it if it had a pair of shafts that are 13 1/2 mm call me silly I like playing pool with them .

TrxR that too is one very stunning pool cue and case !
