Business was slow so my wife and I decided to try having small 9 ball tournaments every Wednesday and it has really increased our business in the pool hall. Payout is 1ST 300P, 2ND 200P, 3RD 100P, 4TH 75P, 5TH 50P and 6TH 25P. The total payout is about $20.00 US dollars. We live in the Philippines. Our entry fee is 10P We have 4 days to qualify and Sunday we have the finals. We use 2 to 4 tables for the tournament, depending on the number of entries. We have a total of 7 tables but one is a Brunswick Gold Crown that better players use to practice on and for larger money games. The other 6 tables are all being used during the tournaments. To qualify we have a race to 3. 5TH and 6TH place have a race to 4, 3RD and 4TH place have a race to 6 and 1ST and 2ND have a race to 7. Last week we put new cloth on all the tables. Yesterday we got new fiberglass cues from Seybert's in America, 18oz and 19oz. All of them are very good playing cues. Our customers love the new cues and they shoot better with them. Our business is up about 400%. We hope this helps some of you.
