I went to an electronics expo the other day and there was a booth showing off some new uses for smart glasses (i.e. Google Glass). They had a golf putting green set up and you put on the glasses and it actually reads the green, then calculates and shows you the approximate putting line. Very cool!
I was thinking that this could easily be applied to pool as an interesting training tool, for example showing the ghost ball or the cue ball's projected path, or banks and kicks, etc. (Not sure how accurate it would be using only visual information and no input on the table conditions.)
The last thing I would want though is for someone to try to use it in a tournament or match, although if you need your glasses to tell you what to do, then you probably don't have much game anyway.
