Smokin Cues- Thanks

Just want to commend the staff of Smokin Cues who did a great job during the first half of the BCA event for women.

The place is just real well run with great staff. All the waiters/waiters were easily just as fast cleaning up after everyone as they were delivering the drinks etc. Even little miss dominatrix hustled.

It was hard to tip them as they hurried away after dropping off instead of the usual "tip linger'.

The seating of course was just horrible unforunately. Aluminum bleachers that were just the perfect height to make sure you couldn't see as there were permanent floor mounted "drink tables" blocking most tables. Im sure there was little choice here.

For those in the area, I'd definitely give this place a shot at your business if you havent already.

You are right on the mark. Matt was working just about around the clock getting the room ready. He had to remove 4 tables and lights, get the bleachers set up, get the other tables recovered, and the hundred other things required to hold an event like that. And he probably lost a lot of money since the ticket sales all went to charity. The bar and kitchen was the only income for the room for two days.
I do wish you had introduced yourself. I was the guy assisting Mark over at the TD table.
Also, a big shout out to all the APA staff and members who volunteered their time to assist with shot clock duty. None of it happens without a lot of hands getting involved.
