smoothing a joint

I have a cue with the same pin as I have for a previously owned predator shaft. The predator shaft is a bit wider at the joint, can the predator shaft be taken down to fit, or do you find i may lose integrity in the shaft?
needs to come down maybe 1mm all the way around.

your local repair person or cue maker should be able to do that for you. I don't see a problem.

Yes everything starts oversized as some point. This won't be a problem. The only time there is a problem is when an insert is removed on a shaft already sized. You can loose perfect center
