Trying to get info on this tournament and its qualifiers has been horrible!!! No wonder so few people are showing up for the qualifiers. Come on Charlie you have the web site get the info out there!

Bear, where are you getting this information? He's not listed on the official brackets page at worldstraightpool.com, nor was he mentioned on the twitter feed.
 
Earl Strickland is listed in Group 4. He has 3 matches tomorrow.

Earl has spent this summer in NYC, so playing in the 14.1 was a strong possibility. I believe he's the house pro giving lessons at Steinway billiards.
For those in NYC pool community, this is a golden summer. Efren and Earl playing each other, maybe this was the 2012 Mayan prediction. :-)
