I am looking to purchase - New or used - nothing fancy - wood to wood joint.
What is the best, new, cheapest sneaky pete for the money? Say between $100-$300 ... or used if you have one to sell.

I have a Jacoby Sneaky, 4 point Ebony with a black wrap, Hoppe ring 3/8x10 pin OB shaft.

If you are not interested in what is being offered look into Schmelke.

Thanks for that info. I have been looking(not touching) for a true sneaky for several weeks and i would say the Schmelke seems to be the best version for about $149. Regardless what i buy, i will give some feedback.

My friend has a Schmelke Bacote wood/wood... it is a beauty. It looks like a house cue. If you buy from them ask to leave their logo off. Better yet ask for a bumperless... Doc Frye would be proud of you ( just kidding...they cannot do a nice bumperless). Speaking of Frye's... there's a sharp looking rosewood in my Avatar.

Yeah. Your Avatar Frye is very nice. What does the joint look like? Not sure i have seen that design before. Hopefully someday a large collection of Doc Frye pics will be collected for everyone to enjoy. And maybe a list of present, past and original owners. Later, out !

I have a Huebler sneaky for sale/trade. It was a one piece that I converted with Unilock quick joint, new shaft.
I currently am having difficulty posting pictures. $200 plus shipping.
PM with your email for pictures and further details.

Thanks for that thread. lots of good info and pics. Have you ever directly spoken to and/or met any of Doc family? Have their phone # or an email address?

Do not know his family... only the Doc from the Cue & Cushion in the Roosevelt Mall on Cottman Ave. He would come in with the Miz once in a while. I never met Miz. I enjoyed playing 1ball in the corner with Doc. Azb member Philly might have some contact info.

thanks for that info. Well, your member pic shows a hand bridge i have never seen. Fantastic ! I'll have to try that one "on the road"
Anyway, The Players cue looks nice. I went to that link but sadly they left out info on the cue. They never showed pics of the joint(s) materials or construction methods and there was very little info on the shaft ie: pics, ferrel length, material. However many(all?) Players cues do have a terrific warranty.
