i just heard from some guys about ronnie o'sullivan, english snooker player, ran 147 points, table maximum, in 5 minutes and 20 seconds, back in 1997. i find this to be astounding! i can't believe i'm just hearing about it. does anybody know if video is available anywhere?

I have watched that run a bunch of times, and though it's fast, I did'nt feel he was hurrying at all. What a natural, flowing style he has........I hate his guts!!!:).....Gerry
 
I believe he has 147 runs shooting with his opposite hand. Steve Davis said he could be ranked in top 12 playing this way. He plays some early stages with his wrong hand to practice. Not sure how true this is, but I did read it somewhere.
 
I can't access it as bbc is blocked in China.

Could someone download it using Getright or equivalent software and post it to www.yousendit.com or somewhere else so I can get a copy.

I haven't seen in for a couple of years :(

Oh, includes Sigel running 30 balls in a 14.1 match against Zugland. Pretty to watch.
 
i know one of the computer snooker games has this 147 brake and many others in there video section. (its added as a avi in the program files... ) i had to format my pc, so dont have it anymore and dont remember the game name, but u can google out there if u want to have it.

I saw the brake life, and my heart was beating at 180bpm. it was as if i was doing it myself. best snooker experience i ever had.

i think a 147 left handed is the greathes ball sport acheavement ever done. (above the fastest 147 , beating any 500+ pool brakes etc.) Ronnie is for me the best unhuman ball player ever lived.

(yes im former snooker player, but ill stand by what i post)..

id like to see earl or efren do a 500 brake lefthanded...
