Snooker --> 9 Ball Product Advice

Hi,
I come from a snooker background and I'm would appreciate some advice on 9 ball products. I have always played with a 19oz gold medal barracuda 3 peice snooker cue and always used blue diamond tips. I purchase a predator break cue and an extra z shaft earlier and I am very pleased with them. However I am getting tired of changing shafts after break and have decied to buy a playing butt.

a) I like the look of the two black predator butts (the P2 Metallic black and the 4K1), does anyone recomend either of these products, and is it possible to buy a predator butt without the shaft online?

b) I am also looking at the black leather predator case which look very nice, has anyone bought this case? I was wondering if it would hold 3 cues (1 break, 1 playing and one two peice snooker cue)?

c) Is it possible to buy blue diamond tips for a z shaft, I saw that it is possible to buy elks, but I would prefer blue diamond (unless there is a better alternative of course?)

It's almost impossible to buy these products in Australia so I will have to buy them online. Therefore any advice on either of the above points will be much appreciated.

Hi TheOne,

like you, I prefer black cues without any fancy decorations. So I chose P2 Black with leather wrap. It's a great looking cue if you like simple looks. P2 is supposed to offer better hit than either 3K or 4K series...at least that what people who have tried both say.

Check out this message board
Perhaps you could order your cue on that site too, they offer plenty of options.

thanks pred, awesome sight, I've just scanned it but it looks like I'll find everything I need to know there.

Thanks again.

Any advice on tips anyone?

I send cue supplies to OZ, to friends, quite often thru out the year, and I am happy to add you to the list if I can be of help...shipping single items cost quite a bit so I usually get a few items put together before the shipping...where do you live?

I live in Sydney, when is your next shipment?

I have just ordered a few things including the predator case from Inside Pool, they looked like the cheapest supplier I could find? Hope they're good!

I recently ordered quite a few products from Inside Pool. Nothing but good things to say about them and the shipping came two days early.
