Snooker cue for 9 ball?

Hi Craig,

This past weekend in Las Vegas, I watched one of your countrymen miss-cue several times per set attempting to play bar box nine ball with his snooker cue. Think twice. Perhaps three times. Sorry, I don't remember his name.

Ha, it happened to me a few times, once for a place in a semi final spot in vegas on the 8 ball grrr!

As Spider web mentioned though some have used one with great success, Younger, Hill, Hahn, Boyes, I did for a while too. I just liked the z shaft, same taper, and the tip isn't too massive like the majority of pool cues.

I did have a problemt with deflection though, or lack of it! I had got so used to playing with side in Snooker, esp long shots this took a while.

there's just absolutely no point in using a snooker cue for pool, just like there's no point in using a pool cue for snooker. at the end of the day the balls are completely different sizes and the different cues reflect that.

Why Power Cue Balls On Shots. Any Shots.

Take Up Cutting Trees Down.

You Might Even Make A Shot Once In A While, Maybe.

Because there are times when it is necessary...
