Snooker gets saucy....! [Adult Only LOL]

Snooker announces one of the most original sponsor deals ever with HP Sauce, (famous in the UK for brown sauce) has sponsored the "Brown Ball" in snooker!

OK this could turn into an x-rated thread but any ideas for the other colors?

I'll start if off...

The Viagra Blue, or if they want to to sponsor two balls how about the viagra black and blue?

Also the victoria secrets pink maybe?

:-)

Interesting idea, but I'm not sure if players would actually like sighting at "coloured" colour balls, lol.

TheOne, I wonder if you ever tried to play against top snooker guys like you did against Efren at 8ball a week ago? I may be wrong, but I can't imagine Ronnie accepting a cheap money match like Efren did.

that brown sauce is some nasty stuff. The name itself sort of freaked me out the first time an English waiter asked me that. "Some brown sauce w/ that?" WTF is brown sauce? So I tried it and was floored at how nasty it was. Eeeeeeewwww.

Not to Americans visiting England: Ask for tabasco sauce with your food. Hilarity ensues.;-)

HP Sauce trivia question

This will mean nothing to the vast majority of people here who have probably never even seen a bottle of HP Sauce, much less braved it's tangy delights, but for the rest of you a quick trivia question - What does the "HP" stand for? (Hint: The answer is on the label)

Hewlitt Packard?!? :D

PS
I used to practice with some snooker pro's in my home time for nothing. But then I knew them and I also don't think snooker players gamble like pool players do. They are more interested in getting a good practice partner to pick the balls out for them in my experience! I just missed jimmy white in Thailand last month but he might be back later in the year I hear? I'll see if he wants a game? :-)

And according to the news headline in The Sun, Jimmy White changed his name to James Brown. Thats true.

Unlike at the pool tournaments I have been to, at snooker tournaments with the "big guns" such as Hendry, O'Sullivan, Williams and the rest, you cannot get near them, let alone ask if they want to play a little! Snooker tournaments are very "formal" - very quiet during the frames, the palyers disappear backstage to the player's lounge immediately after matches, etc. whereas pool tournaments are very open and the top players are more than very approachable.

I did hear a great story recently involving Efren and Jimmy White, Steve Davis and Ronnie O'Sullivan where Efren played them all at snooker for £100 each (around $180 at the current exchange rate) and took the money off them all. He ran in a couple of centruries (runs of more than 100 points) in the process. Who said pool players can't play snooker?!?!?

Best wishes

That's a good point, and it's mostly the way the Snooker tournaments are run and the money involved rather than the players. For instance I attended the 2003 Mosconi Cup in Vegas and the European team members were moving through the crowds at various points. Several times they sat up in the general seating areas to watch the matches.

Steve Davis came out after beating Earl Srickland 5-0 and mingled with the crowd. I think he got such a rush from that he just could not sit still afterwards. I even got him to sign my souvenier t-shirt! I can't imagine having been able to do that at the Crucible.
