Snooker:help game or not?

You don't see snooker around my town but the other day I ventured about 2 hours north into a pool hall and low and behold he had a 5 x 10 snooker table. I played it for the first time and fell in love. I am looking for a snooker table now. I am going to get a 5 x 10 so I can play snooker and practice my 9 ball game on it. I think a 12 footer will involve to much bridge action for 9 ball play so I will just stick to the 5 x 10 for now.

Hi there and thanks for that.

I have been in touch with Karen and she said she will have a word with Bob over the weekend about getting me there to play an exhibition some time in the near future.

Hopefully we can set something up, and if so I will let you know.

Best wishes.

Alan.

Well Karen Corr did play snooker at Drexeline on Sunday. Karen wanted to check out the new equiptment.
I asked her what did she think ? "Karen said equiptment played great", she is going to England for the holidays and offered Owner Bob Maidhof to pick up snooker related supplies when she is there.
She was in a relaxed mode and really loose, playing with her friend. She appreciated the patrons letting her play in a non-obtrusive setting. She told me she enjoys the game and will be back to Drexeline soon, and while in England will be bringing back her Snooker cue.

I asked her about this thread Helps or hurts Game? Her responce was it helps
(1) shot making, (2)you must concentrate on fundamentals to make even easy shoots.
Would this help players to play tournament 9' table nine ball . "Yes do shot related drills on them" .

Thank you Karen ,we love having gracious, great players at Drexeline!!!
