Snooker on Canadian television.

Does anyone know if there is ever any snooker on Canadian television anymore. A bunch of people told me they have seen snooker not too long ago, but I can't find anything. I'm desperate! The only good snooker I get to see is whenever Jeff White comes down to broadstreet billiards in brockville(he ran 115 while loaded up on booze).

Let me know, like I said I'm desperate!

I haven't seen actual snooker matches lately.

Have seen Snooker trick shot competition, featuring that well known snooker player, Mike Massey.:D

Here is a link to the Sportsnet billiard schedule. They seem to be revamping the web site

TSN doesn't seem to have a separate schedule on their site for pool/billiards/snooker, although Border Battle was on at 5 a.m. EDT and BCA championship is on at 1 p.m. today.

Ya I've seen alot of that already. Im watching the BCA championships now, I hate alternate breaks lol.

I'm afraid I may have content myself to driving up to Markham to watch the Canadian Snooker Championships.

Living in the Detroit area I can get the Canadian channel CBC. Many years ago they would show a program that had a really old looking coach with huge glasses giving Snooker lessons to a female that also wore huge glasses. Looking back I would swear that the female was Karen Korr. Karen was not on the pro tour at the time. From what I remembered about the show was the student asked a lot of questions and seemed to play as if she was a beginner.

Would like to see those programs again and snooker on TV.

I don't know about really old, but the guy sounds like Dennis Taylor. He was famous for massive glasses, and of course beating Steve Davis in the 1985 world final 18-17, by potting the last black to win the frame.
