Snooker Players in Charlotte NC

I might try some cheap but im in raliegh. I love snooker high run of around 97 can't remember cause we were only using ten reds to speed up the game a little. I ran down to the black and missed a tough but makeable shot. Oh and that was on a 5 by 10. Been about 2yrs since i played but it is a fun great game always enjoyed it.

If you are ever in the area, let me know. I'd love to play a few frames. We have a 10x5 table (wish we had room for a full-size) and we play 15 reds. I have a set of 2 1/16 balls but we normally play with 2" because it gives a little more room around the black. I grew up playing with John Parrott (he used to give me 40 start), Ian Brumby, and John Welsh in Liverpool in the eighties and miss the competition.

I would be interested in playing with anyone local at any level though!

Ok sounds good if i ever head that way i will pm you and we can play some. We use to play partners and just had a great time with it. I got pretty good i always joked about goin to england or britain and playin snooker they make good money! At least i heard they did.

Hey Marc, is that you there pal? I think me and my partner did the move and setup on your table. Was just thinking about calling you today then find you here. I recently bought a 6x12 Burroughes & Watts steel block table and immediately thought about you. Still wanting to learn more about the game so we'll have to get together soon.
PS: Hope this is Marc

Hey, Brian isn't it? Great to hear from you. You know you are welcome anytime. I'm always looking for new people to play.

Loving the table although we need you to come back and recloth. I have your number and will call you in the next few days. Do you have a buyer for the table or are you keeping it for yourself? Let me know.

I have found a couple of players and arranged practice sessions, both home and away. Anyone else interested in joining in and either teaching or learning how to play? The more people we have of different standards, the better we can learn from each other. Maybe Allison Fisher will read this post and join us? :) I wonder if she has a snooker table at her home in Charlotte?
