Snooker Table in Carom, NY

Couple of months ago, I tried playing snooker while waiting for a 3-cushion table at Carom Billiards in Flushing, NY.

Needless to say I couldn't pot as successfully as I normally do (thinner, smaller cuestick, smaller balls, bigger table, discomfort from the table being so high, etc). It made me respect all the snooker players in the world that much more.

I have one question though, would the snooker table pockets in Carom considered tight/normal/big? I've never played at any other snooker table so I have nothing to benchmark against. FYI, I played at the table in the middle of the 3 snooker tables.

Any input would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Adam

not much a snooker player but I played it for 3 years when living in Thailand. At the time there wasn't a pool table to be found over there...

I go to Carom Cafe quite often for 3-C games as well, and I have also tried their snooker table. Imo the pockets on the snooker table are "more than generous"...

Btw, you might be interested in these photos/videos we took at the Sang Lee International Open last month :)
